No fewer than 800 Tarok people in Plateau state were feared killed by the Nigerian Army (popularly known as operation safe Heaven deployed to protect lives and property of citizens.
The STF who were deployed to safeguard the people, yesterday night carried out a raid operation on defenseless civilians killing women and children and many are still missing as families goes in search while many are still looking for their   love ones.
An eyewitness account who escape narrowly being killed by the hired army killers, said women, children were killed as well as houses which were in Kadarko town cry out to federal government to thoroughly investigate the immediate cause of the mayhem.
He said, the Army came in a loaded 18 armoured tankers and three trucks with over 5,000 soldiers dressed in army uniform in separate location and they began to open fire to poor civilians.
According to him, the split into different camp of 5, it was gathered from an eyewitness that some of the soldiers came through Taraba state as they begin killing every person including men ,women and children.
Its alleged that the crises which broke up between the Tarok native of Wase Local Government Area lead to the death of over 5,000 people in the area, has continue to consume several lives.
The Traditional ruler of Taroh native in Wase Mr lot Nden confirmed the death of over 800 people. He said the Army came in their number and attack major Taroh settlements including, Saku , Wadata Kasuwa , Wadata mission Kurmi. Kadarko town all the five communities in Wase .Nden said the sponsored STF men raided the entire major town burning down villages.
It will be recall the people of Wase who lost many cattle turned the zone as rustlers zone for those who were affected in the 1998 crisis which started in Lamba Wakat Ward that one Late Patrick Kakfa won councilorship against the Bwonggwom who are predominantly Muslim.
He revealed that six soldiers were killed in Kadarko town two weeks ago so the Army mobilize their men to killed innocent civilians.
However, effort to speak with the STF spokesman Captain Ikedichi Iweha on phone proved abortive as his phone was not answered.
In a related development the Police PPRO Emmanuel Abuh said, the command is yet to get the knowledge of the development
