Information reaching this medium indicates that there has been a bomb explosion at a branch of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, which is situated along Bauchi road in Potiskum, in Yobe State.

According to an official of the Red Cross in the area Hassan Muhammad, who was at the scene of the incident when it took place said; “People were just going to the church when the bomber entered, otherwise the casualty figure would have been higher.”

According to the witness, about six persons have been reporterd to have died as a result of the bomb explosion, while many are injured.
