Breaking News: Multiple Bomb Explosions Hit IDPs Camp In Maiduguri

There have been multiple explosions in Muna Garage area of Maiduguri. According to a report by Reuters.com, four people have been reported killed and eight others injured, the state police commissioner said on Wednesday.

Borno Police Commissioner Damian Chukwu said three blasts occurred near the Muna Garage area of Maiduguri, around 04:30 a.m. (0330 GMT).

Also, AFP in its own report stated that, that multiple attack was through suicide bomb attack; “There were four explosions inside the camp,” the coordinator of the Muna camp Tijjani Lumani told AFP.

“The bombers struck at different locations around 4:30 am. The explosions triggered fires which burned down many tents”, he said, adding that casualties’ details were not known.”
