BREAKING NEWS: INEC Registers Atiku’s PDM, One Other Party

Barely 24 hours when former Vice President Atiku Abubakar confirmed that many of his associates are involved in the registering of a new political party,  the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced the registration of two new political parties, a registration which includes the pro-Atiku Peoples Democratic Movement, PDM.
INEC in an official statement signed by A. C. Ogakwu (Mrs.), Secretary to the Commission said: “The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has registered two new political parties in accordance with the provisions of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as Amended) and the Electoral Act 2010 (as Amended).”
The statement also said that; “The newly registered parties are the Independent Democrats (ID) and the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM).”

“The Constitution, Manifesto, Logo/Flag and list of National Executive Officers of each party have also been approved by the Commission” the statement added.
