Breaking News: INEC Ask APC To Replace Late Audu, Fixes December 5th For Supplementary Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission has acknowledge the notice by the All Progressives Congress, APC that its candidate, Abubakar Audu who was the governorship candidate of the ongoing governorship election in Kogi State has passed on.

INEC also fixed December 5 to conduct a supplementary election in the 91 affected poling unit in Kogi State election.

According to a statement Mrs. Augusta C. Ogakwu, Secretary to the Commission, “the commission has decided to conclude the process by conducting election in the 91 affected Poling Units as announced by the Returning Office.

“to allow the All Progressives Congress to fill the vavancy created by the death of its candidate and to conduct the supplementary election on 5th December, 2015.”
