Erstwhile Minister of Information, Labaran Maku today officially declared to vie for the 2015 governorship election of Nasarawa State under the all Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA.
The State Chairman of APGA Chief John Amako in his address presented the former Minister as the recognized gubernatorial candidate for the party in 2015 in the state,
Amako said he was directed by the National Headquarter of the party to present the former candidate of APGA, “I’m acting on the instruction of our party.”
The secretary of the party in the state Emmanuel Kuje also averred that APGA is the solution to the quantum of problems that has bedevilled the state under Governor Al-Makura.
“Government is our right and Maku is the one, APGA will replicate what happened in 2011 by taking over power from the PDP, we will take over from the APC.”
Kuje maintained that APGA would give impetus to the execution of solid projects , he said the projects of the party would be solid, permanent not temporary development embarked by Al-Makura.
Manyi Hotel, the venue of the meeting was full to capacity by APGA supporters mostly from Nasarawa Senatorial Zone.
Nurudeen Omar, a candidate vying for House of Assembly lambasts APC for inflating contract and driving the state as his personal property, while Maryam Amaa Buba erstwhile commissioner of National Planning and Hon. Sam Allu berates the sitting governor for denying student scholarship and employment.

“Everything was grounded to a halt including the Civil Service which was the engine room of Government business, the running mate of Maku, Ibrahim Abu stated.
