Breaking: Household Of Nasarawa Kidnapped APC Chairman In Pandemonium As Police Confirm His Killing By Kidnappers

The household of the state chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Hon. Philip Tatari Shekwor was thrown into pandemonium following the death of the party chairman.

 

It was revealed that he was abducted at gunpoint at about 10:30 to 11:00 pm Saturday night.

 

His driver said the abductors entered the house through the parameter offense and start shooting for barely thirty minutes at the security post situated at the main entrance of the house.

 

He said the gunmen were about ten who broke into the main house through the window of the chairman’s room which was left open.

 

“They use an axe and broke the burglary of the chairman’s room because is not easy for them to penetrate the main house from the compound because of the bulletproof entrance and exit doors”.

 

As at 9:57 am on Sunday morning sympathizers continued to troupe into the compound to shower their sympathy to the family members.

 

As of press time a Hilux van of the Nigeria police was cited between palm trees within the vicinity of the compound, driver the Chairman said the Chairman after attending an event organized by the state APC Secretary, Aliyu Bello at Sandahi hotel they went straight to Golf Club, after the Federal University of Lafia.

 

“It was only Oga and me that were at the golf club till after seven before we left home and after 9:00 pm. he told me to come and see him early in the morning, which is today Sunday because he briefed me of a burial in Doma, few minutes Madam now called and briefed me that Chairman was abducted”.

 

“When I called his phone it was ringing but there was no response at all and up to this moment nobody called,

 

The police commissioner, Bola Longe who confirmed the killing of the party chairman also confirmed that his lifeless body was found a few meters away from the house.
