Breaking: Gunmen Kidnap Paramount Ruler Of Gindiri in Mangu Plateau, On Sunday

Tension is in Gindiri chiefdom of Mangu Local Government Council of Plateau state in North-Central Nigeria as Gunmen suspected to be bandits have invaded residence of  the Paramount Ruler of Gindiri, HRH Charles Mato Dakat by kidnapping him at about 1 am in the early hours of Sunday the 26th December, 2021 .

A source disclosed that the bandits alleged to be up to 30 in number stormed the Paramount ruler Palace,  through the back destroying the building to gain entrance into his private room .

The kidnapped HRH Charles Mato Dakat at his residence, in the early Hours of Sunday after a heavy Gunfire shooting sporadically to scare the residents as the kidnappers escaped with the traditional father.

However, as at the time of filing in this report ,no ransom or communication has been received  from the kidnappers.

The suspected gunmen were said to have went away with the paramount ruler who was alone in the house as his wife and other family members were said to have travelled.

This medium gathered that the suspected bandits  kidnapped the Paramount Ruler of Gindiri, in Mangu Local Government area of Plateau State, HRH Charles Mato Dakat at his residence, but insiders at the scene said it was pandemonium and fear that gripped them because the type of guns used superseded that ofthe security agencies .

According to the witness ,we had a very peaceful Christmas celebration only this early morning when we are preparing for boxing day that a group of  assailants overpowered the local vigilante to attack the home of our Paramount ruler .

Effort to speak to the PPRO Plateau State Command Mr. Gabriel Ubah on the issue before press time proved abortive as he could not pick calls placed on his phone.
