The Kano State Governor has approved the appointment of His Highness Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero as the new emir of Kano, after the nomination of 3 prospective candidates by the Kano Emirate Kingmakers.
In statement signed by Salihu Tanko Yakasai, the Special Adviser Media to Kano Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, he said; his Highness Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero until his appointment as the new Emir of Kano, was the immediate Emir of Bichi, who was appointed after the creation of new Emirates of Bichi, Rano, Gaya and Karaye.
