Borno State Senator-Elect, Ahmed Zanna Dies At 59

Borno Senator-elect, Sen Ahmed zanna representing Borno Central in the Senate is dead.

Ahmed Zanna, who was aged 59 died at his residence in Abuja, this afternoon, after he returned from a German Hospital on Thursday where he was bedridden.

According to  spokesperson for the Senate, Enyinanya Abaribe, while confirming the death of Zanna said Prayers were ongoing at the National Mosque for the late lawmaker.

The Senator-elect won the election for Borno Central in the just concluded March 28 Presidential and National Assembly elections.
