Boko Haram: Police Beefs Up Security At Worship Centers And Market Places In Jos

boko-haram_0The Plateau state Police Command has beefed security network around relaxation centers and worship places to prevent Boko Haram attack.

In a press statement made available to news men in Jos the state capital through the Police Public Relation Officer, Plateau state Commands DSP Emmanuel Abuh.

 

Abuh  called on citizens of the state to be more security proactive following the recent unfortunate incidents in neighbouring boarder states that threaten the security of lives and property.

The Command tasks people to be observant on suspicious persons and strange objects in their environment, market, business centres, shop malls should report immediately to the Police and other Security agencies of such ill-intended activities of miscreants for prompt intervention.

They urged members of the public that have vehicles to key in to the technology of safe guarding and securing their vehicles wherever parked through the use of pedal lock, steering lock, tracking devices among other security gadgets.

The command appeal to the public to corporate with the security agencies through volunteering of credible information on suspicious criminally minded persons.

The Command has placed security measures that will guarantee protection of lives and property of all citizens in the state during and after the ember months.
