The President Nigerian Catholic Arch-Bishops, Most Rev. Ignatius A. Kaigama has celebrated 20 years anniversary of priesthood with widows in Plateau state.
He called for fervent prayers from all the priests across the world to enable them succeed in their calling saying, “it is not easy to survive as a priest or as a Bishop except through Prayers”.
Bishop Kaigama stated this Thursday during symbolic church service at the Blessed Sacrament Church Jenta Mangoro to mark his 20th anniversary as a Bishop.
Kaigama who was Ordained as a Bishop on the 23rd day of April 1995 in the Jalingo Diocese of Taraba state was posted  to Jos Arch diocese after the demise of the Late Bishop G. G.  Ganaka.
He has ,however, chosen this day to celebrate with the widows to join him in thanking God for sparing his life, even as he confesses that is not easy to survive as a priest or Bishop and Pray God to aways forgive them where they might have fallen short.
He said on the 23rd of April 1995 he was ordained as a Bishop in Jalingo, symbolizing that he today clocked 20 years as a Bishop.
He said the choice of Jenta Mangoro is also symbolic to him because of the poor access road to the church as a mark to remind them that a road to heaven is also not an easy one.
He however announced the donation of five hundred tubers of yam, bags of maize and a cash of one million Naira for the widows.
Explaining that though he is not a salary earner he has been able to raise the item from his charity account and well wishers.

Adding that a lady who married many years ago without an issues has also been contributing faithfully to the charity account and urged the Widows to use their powers in their prayers to pray for her so that one day she will come and give testimony that God finally blessed her with children.
