Berom Youth Movement Decries of Jihadist invasion of 30 villages Plateau-

The National President of the Berom Youth Moulders-Association (BYN), Mr Choji Chuwang Dalyop has decried jihadist invasion of 30 villages in Riyom and Barakin Ladi Local Government Councils by Hausa/Fulani herdsmen in Plateau state.

Dalyop made this known in a press statement at NUJ, Plateau state council yesterday

He said, the body draw the attention of Federal and state government to the callous activities of Fulani militias which have truncated the peace and serenity of Plateau North and south.

Dalyop explained that the jihadist mission had forced the occupants of Berom enclaves by eliminating the natives to achieve their long ill agitation for grazing reserved areas as the most recent height of terrorism speak volumes with the eviction of 30 villagers in Sopp ,Jol ,Hweigwe, Rim, Kafi, Abu, which the settlements are completely raze with thousands murdered.

He lamented that the jihadist killed school children, principals ,senior civil servants ,farmers ,traders ,students and million inhabitants rendered homeless .

The Beroms cautioned against heavily armed terrorist who exterminate defenseless children , women and men destroying food crops in their farmland.

Dalyop slammed the ugly cosmetic peace dialogue engaging the Fulani community by Plateau state Government on the need to explore all possible avenue to live peacefully not mere lip service.

He commended members of the STF for this laudable feat but caution against release of those culprits without the law taking its full course as any attempt in that regard .
