How Bauchi Police Displace Suspected Yan Sara-Suka Thugs In Bauchi Metropolis, arrest three, recover Weapons

The Bauchi state Police Command said in a statement that it has dispersed‎ thugs with dangerous weapons on the street of Bauchi, the Police also said that it arrested three of them and recovered weapons.

In the statement signed by the Bauchi State Police Command, SP Haruna Mohammed he said the police arrested three of the suspected thugs called Yan‎ Sara- Suka.

According to the Police Command, the incident happened on Sunday night at about 10: 00 pm.

The miscreants suspected to be Sara Suka thugs numbering about 30 Armed with machetes and knives were seen heading towards Ahmadu Bello way GRA Bauchi with intent to disturb public peace, Haruna said.

SP Haruna also stated that Police Patrol Teams attached to the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) responded swiftly, intercepted the hoodlums.

He said that the team dispersed them and arrested three Suspects named Ibrahim Garba of unguwan Durumi,‎Nazif Abubakar of Kofar Dumi and,Adamu Garba of Nasarawa Jahun Bauchi.

He said the offensive weapons recovered from the suspects include; Three Machetes,‎ One Knife and, ‎Two Motorcycles.

SP Mohammed said the case is under investigation and efforts are being intensified to apprehend the other suspects.

He said the Command assuring members of the public that it is fully prepared to ensure that all law abiding citizens in the state will be protected.

He, however, warned that any group or persons planning to hinder it’s effort should desist as any breach to public Peace will attract severe legal consequences.
