Bauchi NIPR Gets New Executive Council

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Bauchi chapter has gotten a new executive council to pilot the affairs of the association in the next two (2) years.

The election was held at the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) during the 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Bauchi, Inaugurated by Mr. Inuwa Bello, Chairman of the Elders Advisory Council of the Chapter.

Newly elected officials include Malam Mohammed Rabiu Wada of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi emerged as Chairman, Dr. Nazifi Abba Pali of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi as Vice Chairman, Mohammed Tanimu Gambo as Secretary, Abdulkadir Shehu as Assistant Secretary, Muslim Lawal as the public relations Officer.

Others are Hassan Ismail as financial secretary, Mrs. Aisha Bamai as treasurer, and Shamsu Dauda as auditor.

He said all the positions in the executive council were returned unopposed.

The Chairman advisory council of the chapter, Mr. Inuwa Bello lauded the immediate past executives for providing a level playing ground for the council to be vibrant.

While the newly elected Chairman, In his acceptance speech, appreciated the overwhelming support of members of the council.

He pledged to consolidate the achievements of past leaders of the chapter and take the institute to a greater height.

The new Chairman, Bello calls for cooperation, support, and prayers for wisdom to steer the leadership of the council.
