Bauchi Labour Party Candidate Promises Constituency With Dividends Of Democracy If Elected

As the forthcoming general election in  Nigeria is quietly approaching, the Candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for the Bauchi state House of Assembly representing Zungur, Gallambi, and Miri constituency, Honorable Elisha Yakubu Yarima promise constituency dividends of Democracy if elected.

The Assembly hopeful who stated that the purpose of venturing into politics was to enable him to give quality representation to his constituency, especially the youth, pointed out that the youth is very critical to nation-building.

“As far as I am concerned, we need to realize as a nation that we have to start prioritizing the plights of our young people”, he said.

He added that he is not into politics because of his family, relatives, or friends, and pointed out that the zeal and passion he has for his community made him join politics.

“My priorities are to work hard and make available provision of food items, provision of fertilizer to the farmers, my constituents to go to bed with food,” said.

Honorable Elisha disclosed that he will use his experience gained to bear in his affairs if he eventually emerged as a member representing Zungur, Gallambi, and Miri in the forthcoming general election to come in 2023.

“I have experience in fundraising, I have experience in working with young people to help them achieve their goals. These are some of the things we plan to do when we begin to serve our constituents”, he said.

The Labour party Candidate pledged to if elected, ensure that bills aimed at empowering youths are adequately and quickly passed into law.
