The Ex-Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Minister, Senator Bala Mohammed, has confirmed his interest in running for the office of Governorship of Bauchi state come 2019 under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
According to Bala Mohammed a former Senator, made his intention to run for office of Governorship come 2019, when he paid a visits to the newly inaugurated Bauchi PDP executives at the party’s secretariat yesterday.
Speaking he said he was the first person that has indicated interest in running for the office of Governor of Bauchi in 2019.
As he added that his decision to contest is based poor performance and leadership skills of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government led government in the, under the leadership of Governor Mohammed Abubakar.
According to Bala, he said that he is sure and confident that the PDP will unseat the ruling party in the 2019 general election as well takes back its mandate from the APC.
Bala said that the Governor and his government have failed to give the people of the state dividends of democracy, in almost two years in office.
