Dr. Rilwanu who was speaking when he paid a Sallah homage to the governor at the government house in Bauchi commended the governor for a wonderful job done to the traditional rulers across the state.
“We give thanks to Almighty Allah for bringing us to this day that is full of blessings and also giving us the opportunity to pay this visit to the governor”, he said.
He further thanked governor Bala for providing exotic cars to all the district heads across the state as requested during his Sallah homage last year, apart from renovating their palaces.
The emir while expressing gratitude to Allah for helping the Muslim faithful to start and complete this year’s Ramadan fasting period successfully, reiterated the loyalty and support of his emirate of the present administration in the state.
“Your Excellency, the Governor, I want to on behalf of the Bauchi Emirate, wish you well as you continue to pilot the affairs of our dear state. I assure you of our unflinching support and obedience for the progress of our state”, he said.

While responding, Governor Bala Mohammed attributed his achievements to the support he is getting from the emir, other traditional rulers, and the entire good people of Bauchi state.
The governor while thanking the emir and the entire people of Bauchi state for supporting his administration, said such support has spurred him not to do anything that will shortchange the people of the state.
“We have not relented in our efforts to ensure that we have fulfilled the pledges we made, although there are few others waiting, we have fulfilled at least 80 percent, in the area of road construction, health care delivery, education as well as empowering the citizens”, Bala said.
“Today in Bauchi, we don’t have problems with salaries, everybody is being paid his salary and pension, local governments have been given their autonomy, they are working tirelessly, they are the ones renovating houses of our district heads”, he said.
The governor assured that before the end of his administration, houses of emirs in the state would be renovated to standard.
