Bauchi state chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has urged the attackers of governor Abubakar to toe a path of honour and desist from the act that is capable to distract good governance and the blueprints of APC for the yearning and aspiration of the people
The state publicity Secretary Auwal Aliyu Jallah made the statement in a press release made available to this medium as he said, the party has viewed with total dismay some sponsored advertorial in some media outlets in an attempt to create confusion aimed to attack APC administration in the state.
It described the development as disheartening and urges the perpetrators of such evil motive to put-hold in further disparaging the personality of their amiable governor through mudslinging mercenary slanders and malice for perceive scores.
The statement had further warn people not to make utterances they could not account for especially those linking to government policies and programmes.
Jallah had categorically stated that even though the party still accord and respect the freedom of information as an ingredient of democracy yet it should not be used as a weapon of character assassination against the APC administration.
The party had urged its supporters to pray for the success of the leaders in all ramifications especially President Buhari and the executive governor of Bauchi state Barrister Mohammed Abubakar.
The APC spokesman debunked the allegation that PDP members will forms part of APC cabinet and describe it as a mere false to undermine the good intention of the governor.
According to Jallah, the governor is doing everything possible in consultation with party before appointments are made to clear the doubt that PDP will be given appointment.
However, this medium learnt that, the APC statement of defence of the governor is allegedly coming at time when Bauchi coalition group against financial crimes are calling for the state house of assembly to investigate and impeach him in connection to allegation of financial crimes.
It could recall that the social media was recently awashed that Abubakar may appoint PDP members in to the APC cabinet and that attracted serious outrage even within the APC.
