Bauchi: 2020/2021 Admissions Into SS1 Out, See Full List Of Admitted Students Inside

The attachments below show the distribution of students admitted to SS1 in public schools. It is important to note the following:

  1. All admissions were based on the recently concluded Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
  2. Only candidates with at least a C grade were admitted into boarding schools.
  3. Candidates with an F grade are admitted only into day schools.
  4. Day school candidates were admitted into their former schools or to schools nearest to them as suggested by the Education Secretaries of their Local Governments.
  5. The admission list will be uploaded to the BECE portal today for access of students, schools, and LEAs No manual list will be pasted anywhere as before.
  6. The candidate that woefully failed – FF grade – will repeat JSSIII. They have not been admitted into SSSI.
  7. Admitted students can report immediately on 18th January 2020.

With this, all the frustrations of last year from lack of creditable examination, sabotage in the posting of students, and the printing and distribution of admission letters have been overcome. A student only needs to access the portal, check his result, and admission, and download his admission letter.

Thank you, ICT. The more we ask, the more you give.

Dr. Aliyu U. Tilde

Commissioner of Education

Bauchi
