Bala Dissolves Cabinets, Sack Political Appointees

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state on Thursday dissolved cabinets and all of his political appointees except the secretary to the state government, chief of staff, and the principal private secretary.

Barrister Ibrahim Kashim who is the secretary to the state government announced this while briefing journalists immediately after the State Executive Council.

He said that the Secretary to the State Government, Chief of Staff, and Principal Private Secretary retained their position till the inauguration period.

Barrister Ibrahim Kashim said that, during the executive meeting council, Governor Bala Mohammed thanked the outgoing cabinet members for their positive contributions towards the successes achieved by his administration in the first tenure.
