Badaru Urged Musilm To Pray For Buhari Quick Recovery

Governor Muhammad Budaru of Jigawa has on Sunday urged members of the Islamic Group of Jama’atul Izalatil Bidiah Wa’ikamatil Sunnah (JIBWIS) to pray for the health recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari and economic recovery of the nation.

Badaru made the call in his speech during the N60 million Appeal Fund Raising for the building of JIBWIS state secretariat in Dutse.

He said “we need prayers from all and sundry to take the country out from the present economic crises as well as the fast recovery of President Muhammadu Buhari who is away on Medical vacation to London.”

The governor said that nobody should blame the All Progressive Congress (APC) administration under Buhari stressing that it is an inherited problem which started before now.

Badaru stated that the present administration met the problem on ground and it is struggling to address it.

He said all hands must be on deck to find new ways of sustaining the economy than rallying heavily on oil.

According to him, “economist around the world said very soon car and other locomotive engines will revert to the use of solar energy than petroleum”.

Badaru explained that the situation will lead Nigerians and other petroleum exporting countries like Saudi Arabia loose market as they so much depend on petroleum.

“So as Nigerians, we have to think and find alternative ways of sustaining our economy.”

Earlier in a speech, the National chairman of the JIBWIS, Sheikh Abdullahi Bala lau appealed to the federal government to set up a powerful committee of enquiry to investigate the crises between herders and some communities in Mambilla area of Adamawa state where many innocent lives were killed.

lau said that anybody  found guilty should severely be punished pointing out  it an unfortunate situation, against the tenets of any religion.

He also appealed to the government to provide employment and food security for the masses.
