Governor Olusegun Mimiko today defected to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ending months of speculations of his intention to join the ruling PDP.
With this it is now clear that the governor has finally dumped his party Labour party, a party on which he won his governorship election in the two tenures.
Governor Mimiko today informed his cabinet members and also political associates during a meeting with them which was held today at the Government House in Akure, the State Capital.
