The Association also appealed to government to provide the Police with relevant modern equipment to fight crime as applicable in modern day policing and international best practices.
The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon Arase NPM, fdc in his response appreciated their pledge to collaborate with the Police. He re-emphasized his commitment to make the welfare of his men paramount and also his thrust on a paradigm shift on strategic plan that will make Nigeria Police operate in line with international standard. He further promised a robust symbiotic relationship with the Association.
