On Tuesday, Dec.21st 2021, indeed recorded an over flowing tears of joy by the Executive Members of ” Association of Disabled Women, ADW, Transport Services”, Imo State, (Special Citizens), when they paid a very warm courtesy visit to the Imo NURTW State Chairman, Hon.Comr. Sam Udeh (Ezeumuokorobia).
Persons with Disability, PWD, who paid the visit under the aegis of Imo APC Association of Disabled Women Transportation Services presented an Award of Excellence to Udeh, whom they described as a God fearing man with their interests obviously recorded at heart.
According to the leader of the group, Lady Edith Ukaegbu, who spoke as the Woman Leader, expressed satisfaction on the award of honour bestowed upon the helmsman of Imo NURTW.
Lady Ukaegbu, said, we have decided to honour Hon.Udeh in recognition of his continued support for the less privileged and to mankind. The award on Udeh as vibrant young man ascribed for his humanitarian contributions to mankind especially to Persons with Disability, PWD, in Imo State.
“We are solidly behind Udeh and Imo NURTW under his watch. He is a nice man. His continues support to the wellbeing of Persons with Disability, PWD, can never be forgotten. That why we have come to honour him as our Grand Patron. May God Almighty continue to guide and protect him”, Ukaegbu prayed.
The Woman Leader while speaking, revealed Udeh’s long-suffering to their predicaments, added that he has never failed in his unalloyed support and commitments towards their survival.
“He is our Senior Apostle in the vineyard of the Almighty. A man of God indeed. He loves humanity and divinity. He is called by God to serve. He has displayed capacity in all ramifications, therefore, we have chosen him as our Grand Patron. He has continued to provide for our foods and feedings at all times. He is our problems solver. We love him. He has shown us love and we love him so much”, Lady Ukaegbu submitted.
Adding his voice as a witness, the APC South East Zonal Leader, Special Citizens, Hon.Bright Uzoma, described the award given to Udeh as a well-deserved honour, noted that his trophy as a Grand Patron would enhance the growth of Imo PWD APC Transport Scheme.
Responding, the highly celebrated Imo unionist, Hon.Udeh, appreciated the honour and respect from the group to him.
He therefore promised not to cease from elevating the lives of the group members.
The Imo NURTW State Boss, more so, encouraged them to remain committed and steadfast in APC, even as he charged them to always support the Shared Prosperity Government of Governor Hope Uzodinma in their political activities.
