Appoint Only Committed Politicians Into Key Portfolio-Sangarin Kwandare Tells Gov Sule

The Sangarin Kwandare,Alhaji Ahmadu Al-Makura has called on Nasarawa state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule to beam his searchlight on the appointment of only committed appointees in key positions for the betterment of the state.

 

The paramount ruler disclosed this during this year’s free Jamb, NECO, and free lessons to students of Junior Secondary School sponsored by the State Secretary of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Alhaji Aliyu Bello.

 

HRH.Ahmadu Al-Makura challenged politicians holding sensitive portfolios in the state to inculcate the doggedness and resilience of Aliyu Bello who he said is building a solid fortress for a better tomorrow by investing in education.

 

“That is why I don’t want to talk, and if I start talking I know some people would not like my comment, we have many politicians holding sensitive portfolios but are not heard in times of community service, why only Aliyu Bello?”.

 

“I repeat only performing politicians should be given big positions of responsibility in the state”

 

Nigerian envoy to Sierra Leone, Henry John Omaku described education as the bedrock of every society which without the society is two steps backward.

 

He maintained that the APC Secretary is laying a solid fortress for the human race in years to come, adding that the Educational Foundation was meant to uplift the standard of education.

 

Calling on all and sundry to inculcate religious tolerance as it was obtainable in Sierra Leone, where father, mother are Christians and Children are Muslims.

 

The state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule appreciate Aliyu Bello Educational Foundation for supporting the less privileged ones through the payment of Jamb,Neco, and a Free lesson for JSS 1-3 students.

 

The Governor who ably represented by the Commissioner for Special Duties, Legal, Bar. Imam Zanwa said the state Governor poised to uplift the education sector to an enviable height by allocating the highest budget to education in 2019-2020.

 

Other commitment also includes the provision of instructional materials to schools in the state.

 

“Due to our commitment towards the upliftment of the education sector Nasarawa state was able to access educational grant”.

 

The former Vice-Chancellor, Nasarawa State University,Keffi, Professor. Muhammed Akaro Mainoma described education as a better life, exposure,is about the organization, composure, and building the society.

 

Mainoma said he was a product of educational scholarship from others, Commending the commitment of Emir of Lafia, Retired Justice Sidi Bage, and Ahmadu Al-Makura for sponsoring people some years back.

 

Hon.Ahmed Aliyu Wadada described education as a veritable tool for a better society, He commended Aliyu Bello for having passion for education.

 

Calling on the affluent in the state to invest in education, saying so doing would tackle the rising spate of crime and criminality.

 

The founder of the Foundation during an exclusive interview with selected Journalists explained that he set up the charity and educational Foundation to take care of the less privileged ones in the society especially orphans.

 

Bello thanked the state Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule and Hon.Ahmed Aliyu Wadada for being supportive of  the foundation.

 

Nigerian envoy to Sierra Leone, Henry John Omaku and Hon.Ahmed Aliyu Wadada donated N.5m each to the foundation while the Executive Chairman of the Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, Mohammed Dan’azumi donated N.2m.
