APGA Guber Candidate, Maku Orders Church Members To Get Their PVC

Labaran Maku ,a governorship contender under the banner of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in 2015 election in Nasarawa State has called on Christians in the State and beyond to acquire their Permanent Voters Card .

The National Secretary of the All Progressive Grand Alliance said PVC is the only tool that will remove bad government and bad leaders from ruling the populace come 2019.

He stated this while delivering a Church sermon in commemoration of this year Easter celebration at ERCC church, Igbabo community of Doma Local Government.

Reverend father Iwala, the overseer of Evangelical Reform Church of Christ, Igbabo community of

Doma Local Government of Nasarawa State challenged Church members to go and obtain their Permanent Voters Card ahead of the 2019 general election.

The erstwhile minister of Information, Labaran Maku in a sermon blamed Nigerian Leaders for the unabated communal and ethnic skirmishes that erupted in the Country.

Maku attributed the lingerng crisis in some parts of the country to selfish interest of Nigerian leaders whom he said are hell bent to cause untold hardship to Nigerian masses.

Saying wanton disturbances was not obtainable amongst Nigerians during the era of late Sardauna of Sokoto,Sir Ahmadu Bello  and General Yakubu Gowon

“Our politicians inject exclusion and hatred in the citizenry tearing us apart as one people, calling on leaders to be fair and just in their leadership adding only these can bind the nation together.

He urged Christians all over the world to demonstrate the teaching of the religion by loving their neighbor has they love themselves by re-establishing the foundation of relationship with one another.

Maku also called on parents to train their wards, the former minister called on Nigerians to make peace with one another, while appealing to youth to shun alcoholism and other social vices that may shorten their lives.

Reverend Father Iwala in his speech tasked Church members to acquire their PVC. He says the Church would henceforth consider members with Permanent Voters Card more than people without voters Card.

Iwala thanked the former minister for his doggedness towards ensuring that normalcy returned to the volatile State.
