The All Progressives Congress,chieftain and former commissioner for Land and survey , Hon. James Barry has promised that the party will bring change and good governance ,if elected in 2015
Speaking with our correspondent on Friday in Jos , he insist that the party must be ousted from power come 2015, I am very happy that APC is not having any other challenges rather than to tell plateau ,Nigerians that APC had promised to change the fortune of Nigerians and to make life better as the way God had made which is practice.
Barry reiterated earlier that their positions that the APC remained the only answer for a prosperous Nigeria crisis.
He called people to move en mass into Plateau State to celebrate the party’s recent victory over what it believes was the worst intimidation in the history of elections in Nigeria
According to him, ” we appreciate what is happening gradually the primaries is taking place,some political parties have commence screening this week and next week .
He disclosed that some of the aspirants who contested for APC state congresses have return back to PDP and that meant that if they had remain or succeeded in becoming leaders of the party in Plateau state ,then they could have sold the party to PDP.
Hon. James Barry lamented that “2015 will end the corruption, mismanagement and state lawlessness and breach of the rule of law when APC takes over government in May next year.
“he said the people of Plateau are ready to replicate the determination and strong will they exhibited during the August 9 election in February next year.”
Speaking with some APC members who lamented the reversal of the nation’s fortunes, saying that the PDP-led at the state Government has through its maladministration impoverished citizens, particularly in the last six years under Governor Jonah David Jang .
They observed that what the state needs at this crucial moment is a radical and total change at the centre so as to rescue the country from its political ebb and economic doldrums.
They pointed out that the past 16 years of PDP has done nothing but increased the poverty level of the people, adding that only the APC can rescue the nation from precipice the PDP is leading it.
He said: “Lest we forget, the religion of PDP is poverty.
“Nigeria is saturated with leaders who are ever so quick to parade platitudes of their respective religion – denying its faith, essence and positive values.
“We must let them know that on their way to hell, they will walk alone.
“Our party, the All Progressives Congress. promises prosperity, national unity and integration, security of lives and property, job and wealth creation, rule of law and constitutionalism and deepening of democracy.”
“We are here to celebrate democracy as the ultimate instrument of political empowerment ever bequeathed to humanity.
