APC Sidelined Party Core Founding Members Says Marwa

A former presidential aspirant and CPC gubernatorial candidate in Adamawa state, Rtd Gen. Buba Marwa has lamented how the All Progressive Congress (APC) party in the country has sidelined them.

He expressed his concern over inability of the present administration to carry them along in running the affairs of this country.

Marwa stated this in Yola, over the weekend at inauguration of new political pressured group “The Pen Group”, noting that the present administration is deeply involved with members of the ‘New PDP’ only leaving behind the core founders of the ruling party as spectators.

He further said that CPC has played a vital role in canvassing support during merger process that brought about APC on board.

The Secretary to  Government of Federation (SGF) Babachir Lawal said government is doing its best to carry everybody the support the party in one way or the order to be what it is today and promised to come to the plight of the less privileged  in the society to benefit from its myriad people oriented programs.

Lawal who was represented by Mustapha Salihu, the SGF appreciated the support and cooperation which led to success of the party in the state and national level.

Former CPC chairman, in the state Alhaji Bappa Waziri who read out communiqué at the end of the forum said they have unanimously agreed to pass vote of confidence in the APC government from local, state and federal governments.

“In line with policies and programs of this administration we would support any person with people oriented programs that have direct bearing on the electorate and zero tolerance to corruption”.

An APC stalwart in the state Dahiru Hammandikko lauds the efforts of the pressure group ,saying politics is all about carry every on board to ensure equal distribution of dividend of democracy.
