The former Governor of Kano State and the incumbent National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress Abdullahi Ganduje has received the erstwhile father of Eggon politics and former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Senator. Solomon Ewuga to the ruling party.
Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje while receiving critical stakeholders across different political divides ranging from the People’s Democratic Party Solomon Ewuga, Mathew Ombugaku , The Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, Zenith Labour Party, a former member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Salihu Musa Iyimoga, Alfa Yusuf Tsenya and their supporters to the APC.
The former Kano State Governor, described Solomon Ewuga as a politician with acumen and large followers, adding that Ewuga is an asset to the State and the country as a whole.
The National chairman, however, maintained that his primary assignment is to reconcile all aggrieved party men and women and to lure them to return to their former abode, Saying the coming back of members who left the party due to one or two reasons will rejoin the party again.
Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje also promised to promote internal democracy by carrying all and sundry along, especially in decision-making.
“Bringing back all aggrieved members of our party will go a long way to strengthen the party especially ahead of the forthcoming Local Government election”.
The Chairman said the target of the party is to ensure that they deliver the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory to the ruling party come 2027.
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator. George Akume appreciates the Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for the good work he has done for the people of the State.
The SGF in addition admonished Governor Sule to mentor other younger politicians in the art of politics, He further called on stakeholders in the State to join hands with Abdullahi Sule to build a more and better Nasarawa State.
Stating that Nasarawa is blessed with mineral endowment across the thirteen Local Governments of the State.
George Akume in his speech maintained that one of the decampees, Bar.Solomon Ewuga has added value to the political history of Nasarawa State as a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Governor, Abdullahi Sule promised to leave Nasarawa APC better than he met it in 2019, As he eulogies the State party Chairman, Aliyu Bello for giving the party the right direction.
Nasarawa State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule appreciated the APC National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Dr George Akume, and other leaders of the party for the feat achieved so far.
Al-Makura appreciates President Bola Tinubu-led administration and expressed optimism that the Government can tackle the security and economic challenges confronting the country.
He also promised to continue to support his successor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule to succeed in adding value to the lives and welfare of the people of the State.
The erstwhile Senator described the defection of Ewuga as a paradigm shift to the party and believed that it would add value to the state and increase the fortune of the party.
