The All Progressive Congress Jigawa state chapter under the chairmanship of Hon Aminu Sani Gumel has declared that the party has fulfilled all the promises made to Jigawa state people during the 2015 and 2019 campaigns.
The chairman said there is no vacancy for a failed party like PDP in the next coming general election in 2023.
The APC chairman who made the declaration while speaking to newsmen in Dutse, the Jigawa State Capital explained that APC government has succeeded in executing a minimum of one project in each and every community across the 27 local government areas in the state.
The chairman noted that, in the area of empowerment, the state government has empowered over 250,000 youth, women, and other people through their own jobs of choice in a bid to reduce the abject of poverty in the state; the state has eradicated poverty among the teaming youth and established wealth creation for people in the state
He “However said over 160,000 fewer privileges are currently receiving N5, 000 monthly allowances every month under the federal government “Cash Transfer” while over 8,000 women were engaged as cooks for feeding over 950,000 pupils in the state”.
Also, in the area of infrastructure, the APC-led government has built over 1,670km of roads to facilitate the movement of goods and services for economic growth and social development.
In the area of Education in the last six years, Governor Badaru administration “we built and renovate over 5,000 classrooms, established in the state, adding that over 250 new, primary, junior and senior secondary schools were constructed across the state to ensure access to education for all children in the state.
The chairman said in the area of health sector since his assumption to office, Governor Badaru has been allocating funds to the Health sector above the Abuja Declaration average, this has enabled the Jigawa state government to establish over 200 functional hospitals across our political wards, and upgraded about 10/hospitals to general hospitals, constructed three specialist hospitals.
In the area of human development, the Jigawa State government had sponsored 200 students, including one hundred female students to study medicine in China and Sudan to ensure accessible and affordable basic healthcare services to the people in the state.
“In the area of water supply, according to UNICEF report, Jigawa state has achieved over 90% provision of portable drinking water to its people and is the second state in the country after Lagos state in Nigeria.
The chairman maintained that the APC government has transformed Jigawa state and made it a reference point in terms of good governance, Agricultural transformation, human development, peace, and progress in Nigeria.
“Therefore, it is a mirage and self-deceit for any party like PDP to think of winning a single elective seat in Jigawa state during the forthcoming 2023 general election,” The chairman stated.
