Anti-Corruption Crusade; Plateau Assembly Member Condemns Rising Number Of Arrests Targeting PDP By APC Govt

A People Democratic Party member representing Riyom constituency in Plateau State House of Assembly Hon Daniel Dem has condemned the rising political tension of anti-corruption crusade of President Muhammadu Buhari that is capable of snowballing into lopsided attack targeted at PDP chieftains.

Speaking to Journalists on the N2.1 bn arms fraud involving Dasuki,  he said; if the  money is main for a particular purpose as demanded to be  channelled and somebody decided to redirect that money for personal use government should arrest them to face the law .

He noted that there is nothing wrong with federal government investigating money laundry, as a member I encourage the fight against corruption in the country but people should have confidence in leadership of APC government.

Hon. Dem called for a holistic approach that whoever is found wanting should be arrested to face the wrath of the law.

However, he condemned in its totality the way and manner the PDP spokesman Olisah Metuh was brought in court handcuffed, whitish he said that is politically motivated to tarnish and destroy the PDP legacy.

Dem stressed that it is only dangerous criminals that the law allow it but view of their action is quite discouraging to him whatsoever the case may appear.

He promised to deliver qualitative representation to the people of his constituency by initiating bills that will impact positively on the lives of people.
