Angry Bauchi House Of Reps Member Loyal To kwankwasiyya Group, Ibrahim Baba Threatens Constituents Over Budget Padding

A House of Representatives member representing Katagum Constituency in the National Assembly has threatened one of his constituents Mukhtar Muhammad MK, a law student who also is a leader of Katagum Youths over Facebook posts he made where he mobilized others youths from his constituents for a planned protest  to express their opinion and ask the lawmaker the role he played the recent budget padding complained by President Muhammadu Buhari of an alleged infractions by the National Assembly Members.

Speaking with Mukhtar on phone, he told universalreportersng.com that his only sin was using his Facebook profile to reached out to Katagum youths for a yet to held gathering where they intend to carry out  questions and answers session with the lawmaker or invariably stage a protest against him should he refused to honour their invitation on the role he played during the budget work that was recently signed by the President.

Universalreportersng.com learnt that the Facebook post may have sent shivers to the lawmaker and in an imprudent mode like an already wounded lion, Hon. Ibrahim Baba popularly known as IMBA, called Mukhtar using a mobile phone number 0803 062 0441 and rained abuses and curses on the young Mukhtar.

Hon. Baba did not stop there, as he went further to threatened deal with Mukhtar if he refuses to pull out of the planned and stop it as well, he also asked him to delete Facebook posts that he has made in relation the planned protest.

However, Mukhtar told this medium in all this he never responded to the lawmaker on the phone while he was speaking to him.

According to Mukhtar and other Katagum youths, they are of the view that Hon. Ibrahim Mohammad Baba who is the House Committee Chairman on Public Accounts should give them feedback why he remained silent of the recent insertions into the Appropriations Bill.

According to them, they believed that the initial projects that were contained in the budget, which were later removed by them would have been of immense benefits not only to Katagum youths but to the constituency as a whole.

Much more, this medium learnt that the lawmaker called him again after ending the first call to inquire of Mukhtar’s whereabouts and location, a request which the young man vehemently refused to provide.

Soon after that, many other calls continued to call his phone trying to inquire where his location.

As gathered  the assertion by the lawmaker that he is in Katagum may not be true after all, as this medium gathered that he is somewhere in Abuja, while some are also of the view that he is presently in Belgium attending to his private business, as it was also learnt that he has not visited Katagum since once month now, even with the recent rainstorm that hits the town where many shops were destroyed and lives lost.

The lawmaker who was originally a PDP member, who worked with former Governor Isa Yuguda, this medium learnt  has now switched allegiance to the kwankwasiyya group, a group formed and owned by former Kano Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, as he is seen now brandishing the attire of the kwankwasiyya  group always, even at the National Assembly.
