Ahead Of LGA Polls In Imo: Gov.Ihedioha Swears-In Barr. Onyenaucheya As ISIEC Chairman, Others As Board Members

The Governor of Imo State,His Excellency, Hon.Chief Emeka Ihedioha,was on Thursday,July 4, 2019,at the Sam Mbakwe Executive Council Chamber,Government House, Owerri,officially sworn-in the Chairman and Commissioners of the Imo State Independent Electoral Commission ISIEC.

 

Amongst those inaugurated to pilot the affairs at ISIEC includes: Barr.Julius Onyenaucheya,as the Chairman,Mrs. Ngozi Duru,Commissioner,from Okigwe zone,Barr.Ambrose Ugboaja,as Commissioner,from Owerri zone.

Prof.Sam Onyekuru,as Commissioner,from Owerri zone,Dr.Chinedu Iwu – Commissioner,as Okigwe zone,Dr.N.N Nwanesi,as Commissioner,from Orlu zone,Barr.Nwando Anyasinti,as  Commissioner,from Orlu zone.

 

Expressing his joy,the newly inaugurated ISIEC Chairman,Barr.Onyenaucheya,thanked the Governor for his appointment,even as he promised to assist towards rebuilding the state.

 

Barr.Onyenaucheya,therefore assured that the commission under his watch shall leave upto expectation and shall improve on the development of the commission and the state at large.

 

Meanwhile,also in the same development,the Governor,Chief Ihedioha,furthermore inaugurated the leadership of ISOPADEC,as Barr.Magnus Obido,as the Chairman Ohaji/Egbema,Engr.Anthony Okwuosha,as Managing Director,Oguta LGA,whereas Hon. Emeka Alihe,as Commissioner,Ohaji, ,as Hon. Acho Ejizi,as Commissioner (Egbema),Sir.Evans Eziohuru,as         Commissioner (Izombe),Hon.Smart Anumaka,as              Commissioner Mgbaila Agwa ,Hon.Stanford Onyirimba,as     Commissioner representing Okigwe Zone

Hon.Kelechi Duru,as Commissioner representing Orlu Zone,Hon.Kizito Onuoha,as Commissioner representing Owerri Zone.
