Advocacy For Democracy And Good Governance Forum, Doma Chapter has condemned the attacked meted on the convey of Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Dr.Emmanuel Akabe by bandits along Nasarawa Eggon-Akwanga highway.

 

This was contained in a press release signed by the Chairman, Ibrahim Mohammed Adi Doma and the Secretary, James Osori and made available to universalreporters.ng.

 

Advocacy for Democracy and Good Governance expressed dismay over act been it robbery or orchestrated plan.

 

The Forum also consoles the Deputy Governor and the entire good people of Nasarawa State and the families of the three Policemen killed by bandits.

 

Appealing to the Federal and State Government to beefed up security that would safe guard  the lives of citizenry of the State.

 

Calling on the Federal and State Government to put more effort and be proactive by providing more security personnel to the convoys of both the executive Governor and his Deputy.

 

Advocacy for Democracy and Good Governance Forum, Doma Chapter called on the contractors handling the dualization of Abuja-Keffi, Lafia-Makurdi roads to hasten up the project, saying speedy construction of the highway would curb the security challenges facing road users.

 

The Forum prayed that Almighty God guide and protects our leaders and the good people of Nasarawa State and Nigeria at large.
