The National Chairman of African Democratic Congress, ADC, Hon. Ralph Okey Nwosu has ordered for the suspension of Hon. Samuel Gyang, Chairman of Plateau State Chapter from every official activity involving ADC within Nigeria with immediate effect.
The statement was made available to journalists in Plateau State signed by the national chairman, Mr. Ralph Okey Nwosu in Jos dated 6th September 2022.
It read thus,” we hereby bring to your notice that Hon.Samuel Gyang has been suspended indefinitely from our party ADC due to various anti-party activities, gross misconduct, utterances aimed at bringing the party’s image to disrepute, attempts to destabilize our great party ADC, through undue negative publicity, and other activities.
According to him, the action contravention of article 15 of ADC party constitution 2018 as amended. The said Samuel Gyang had been directed to transmit all party documents and properties in his possession to the secretary or any other person the party may direct to receive such documents or properties jointly signed by Ralph Okey Nwosu and secretary Alh . Sa’ad Baba Abdullahi National Secretary.
In an interview with journalists in Jos, the Central Zonal Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic party (ADC), Ambassador Ibrahim Musa said contrary to the crisis happening in the party, is normal in every political party that works toward capturing power, which ADC, is no different.
The former governorship candidate of ADC in plateau state, further said that the founding members of the party work hard to bring the party to its present stage and have its constitution which all the members of the Party are expected to respect and its supreme.
On the faith APC in the state and Nigeria as a whole, he said there are problems as far as political parties are concerned as for our party the ADC all the teething problems hitherto bedeviling the party have been amicably resolved.
He however warned any members of the party that is fighting and causing problems in the party should know that the political party is structured in such a way that it’s supreme and every member should abide by its supremacy.
“There are many things people didn’t know before joining the party, which I believe they must have known by now”.
He charged the electorates to vote wisely in the forthcoming General election, and vote for the right candidate to avoid a repeat situation in Nigeria herself under the APC, led government.
As he decried that PDP and APC, there is no difference and the same thing which their administration was not different from each other.
“When you look at APC, and PDP critically, you discovered it is no different as they move from one position to the other which affected their policies of governance.”
On the current insecurity bedeviling the country, he said everybody is guarded by law and order.
“Everybody is within the law not above the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Anybody found wanting, should make to face the music and be brought to Justice.
“Whoever is a criminal and caught by the long arm of the law shouldn’t be speared, but punished according to the law. “He maintained.
