adcThe African Democratic Congress (ADC) gubernatorial candidate has been accused of challenging the exclusion of the party logo by Independent National Electoral Commission,(INEC) on the just concluded governorship election.

In a press statement made available to newsmen signed by Hon Sabiu Ibrahim Musa refuted the allegation by calling on the people to disregard the current imbroglios in the state party resolve not to embark on any legal battle with the APC .

He stressed that we pass a vote of no-confidence on the adhoc committee set-up to look into the post gubernatorial election in the state due to inefficiency ,lack of adherence to party constitution and anti-party activities.

Musa explained that the adhoc committee based on the aforementioned offences has been dissolved this day,5th May,2015 presidential election ,and the party constitute fresh committee.

“The African Democratic Congress in Plateau state has resolve to work with all stakeholders for peace , tranquillity and progress of the party and new committee members have already been set _up to oversee the affairs of the party henceforth”.

The governorship candidate fingers Hon Mua’azu Sani chairman and Mr Rabiu Kabir the secretary on the 6th May,2015 who filed a suit to challenge the outcome of the election at the tribunal and we are calling on the National chapter to disregard and withdraw the petition they have filed on the 11th April,2015.

Alh Musa said the entire party members are in support of the decisions earlier taken by its state gubernatorial candidate and chairman not to challenge the outcome of the election.

“We the members of the party hereby announced to the general public that the 9 men adhoc committee members is hereby dissolved and suspended indefinitely from the party for acts of gross-misconduct and engaging in fraudulent meant to cause civil unrest in Plateau state”.
