Adamawa State University  Senate Announces Promotion Of Fifteen (15) Members Of Staff At The Professorial Cadre(See Full List Inside)

The Senate of the Adamawa State University Mubi (ADSU) has officially announced the promotion of Fifteen (15)  Members of staff to the PROFESSORIAL cadre. The promotions consist of four(4)  Full Professors and eleven (11) Associate Professors

The announcement was made by the Chairman of the Senate and Vice-Chancellor Prof Kaletapwa George Farauta on the Floor of the senate at its 93rd Meeting held in the Senate Chamber located in the Boni Haruna Administrative building

Speaking shortly after making the announcement, Prof Farauta admonished the newly promoted to see the elevation as a call to greater service. She charged them to give leadership at their various Faculties and Departments and urged them to raise leaders because the hallmark of a good leader is to raise capable hands that will continue the good work when they eventually leave the stage

Professor Farauta further reiterated the readiness of Management to raise competent leaders at all strata of the University. She called on everyone to be committed to duty especially against the backdrop of the Covid-19 lockdown and recent ASUU Strike.

She concluded by Congratulating the newly promoted and wished every member of the senate a prosperous year 2021

2. Dr. Priscilla Alexander promoted to the rank of Professor
3. Dr. Omofa Moses Niyi promoted to the rank of Professor
4. Dr. Idris Musa Atadashi promoted to the rank of Professor
5. Dr. Yonanna Ezekiel promoted to the rank of Associate professor(Reader)
6. Dr. Peter M. Jonah promoted to rank of Associate Professor (Reader)
7. Dr. Comfort Yusuf Sankem  promoted to rank of Associate Professor (Reader)
8. Dr. Filgona Joel promoted to the rank of Associate Professor (Reader)
9. Dr. Shinggu Danbaki Yamta promoted to rank of Associate Professor (Reader)
10. Dr. Aliyu Alhaji Jibrilla promoted to rank of Associate Professor (Reader)
11. Dr. Ezekiel Tagwi Williams promoted to rank of Associate Professor (Reader)
12. Dr. Itodo John Itodo promoted to the rank of Associate Professor (Reader)
13. Dr. Japhet E. Yerima promoted to rank of Associate Professor (Reader)
14. Dr. Augustine Clement promoted to rank of Associate Professor (Reader)
15. Dr. Solomon Almanto Mamuru promoted to rank of Associate Professor (Reader)
