Adamawa Police Command Arrests Four Notorious Kidnappers

policeAdamawa state police command has arrested four notorious kidnappers that were alleged to be behind recent upsurge of kidnappings in the state.

The revelation which was made through a Press Release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) DSP Othman Abubakar noted that the four kidnappers were the ones behind the abduction of notable indigenes of the state.

“The Adamawa state police command wishes to inform members of the public that four of the kidnappers that abducted Eng. Wilson Gundiri, a brother to the SDP Gubernatorial candidate Eng. Markus Gundiri, Hon. Usman Adamau, member representing Ganye/Toungo constituency in the Adamawa state house of assembly and Alhaji Aminu (Sarkin Tsafta Adamwa) were arrested with two AK 47 rifles with sixty round of ammunitions,” the statement noted.

The statement added that the the police have commenced investigations on the case at the state’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

It thanked members of the public for their support and cooperation urging them to maintain the tempo as security is the concern of all and sundry.
