The members are Honourable Hamman Tukur Yettisuri (Jada/Mbulo Constituency), Hon. Simon Isa (Song Constituency), Hon. Abubakar Jarengol (Mubi South Constituency) and Hon. Wafarninyi Theman (Hong Constituency).
The others are Hon. Usman Lamorde (Mubi South constituency), Hon. Aloysious Babadoke (Leko/ Koma Constituency), Hon. Ishaq Mohammed Bala (Yola North), Hon. Jibrin Usman Yelwa ( Ganye Constituency) and Hon. Belel Alfa Umar (Maiha Constituency).
The surprise entry for next year’s Adamawa state assembly seat election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party are the following: Hon. Farouz Ayuba ( Guyuk state constituency); Dr. Raymond Chidama (Uba-Gaya Constituency); Abdulrahman Dauda (Gombi Constituency); Bahoro A. Buba ( Fufore/Gurin); Umar Abdulkareem (Nasarawo-Binyeri Constituency);David Edwin ( Fufore/Verre); Alh. Adamu B. Mustapha ( Yola South); Audu Buba Ngete ( Shelleng Constituency); Dr. Francis Zira ( Michika Constituency); Pwamaken N. Nakundo (Numan Constituency); Hon. Emmanuel Isandu (Madagali Constituency); Alh. Abubakar Hamman Girei ( Girei Constituency); Phillip Andrew ( Toungo Constituency); Jamilu Abubakar (Mayo-Belwa Constituency) and Mrs Justina Obadiah ( Lamurde Constituency).
Among the assembly members who showed interest to return back to state legislature but however could not return are Hon. Abuzarri Suleiman Ribadu (Yola South Constituency), Hon. Mahmud H. Musa (Mayo-Belwa), Hon. Usman Jubril Yelwa ( Ganye Constituency) and Hon. Adamu Usman (Toungo). These members lost their seats owing to their inability to get the maximum delegates votes from their various constituencies.
However, over 10 members, including the former acting governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who would not be returning back to the state legislature because they are either eyeing the national assembly seats in their constituency or have been penciled for some political appointments in the next democratic dispensation. Prominent among them are the former acting governor and speaker of the state assembly who is not seeking election into any office to enable him prosecute his appeal over the ruling which re-instates the incumbent governor of the state Barrister Bala James Ngillari
