Adamawa APC divided over the nomination of  Muhammad Musa  Bello As Nominee

The expectation of the Members of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Adamawa state has been dashed and an internal crisis is currently brewing as a result of the nomination of Muhammad Musa Bello.

The Party’s public relation officer in the state, Alhaji Ahmed Lawal said the party is not aware of the nomination of Bello as he has never been part of any campaign or contributed to the growth of the party in whatever way in the state.

According to Lawal the nomination is an indication that the Party stalwart has no respect for the leadership of the party in the state and as such there is high tendency of making party’s members angry over the nomination.

“The Nomination of Muhammad Musa Bello is a surprise to us as a Party, nobody is aware of the development in the state, we only to saw him appeared in the Senate chamber to be screened,” Ahmad said.

Ahmad added that no consultation was made to the Party, or any advice sought on whom to give the Adamawa ministerial slot.

Another Party Stalwart who single handedly engineered the process of bringing former Governor Murtala Nyako to APC, Dr Umar Duhu berated the nomination of Bello to have flawed Party’s and stake holders principles.

This is coming when the Governor of the state, Senator Muhammadu Bindow Jibrilla has since issued a press release endorsing the nomination of Musa.

” Senator Muhammad Umar Jibrilla expresses total endorsement of the ministerial Nominee from Adamawa state, Ahaji Muhammad Musa Bello. I Appeal to all the three senators from the state to ensures that the nomination secures their endorsement, ” He said.

Jibrilla also commended President Muhammadu Buhari for nominating such a patriotic son of Adamawa to serve as a minister.
