Acting  Rector IMAP Appoints Astute Journalist As Director Public Relations, ICT  Gets New Head

The acting Rector of the Isa Mustapha Agwai l, Polytechnic, Lafia,Dr  Nurudeen Mu’azu Maifata has appointed an Astute Journalist cum publisher of Nasarawa Newsline, Mukhtar Wakeel as the Director of the newly-upgraded Public Relations and Protocol Unit of the institution.

Other new appointees in the Polytechnic are Garbage Mohammed Rabiu as Director Information Communication Technology, Engineer Aminu Abdulhamid as Acting Director SIWES, Dr.Shuaibu Sidi Safiyanu as Director Centre for Entrepreneurship/Skills

Another new appointees in the Polytechnic is Garba Mohammed Rabiu as Director, of Information Communication Technology.

According to the statement which was signed by the Acting Rector and made available to Universal Reporters, added that some Directors and Deans have been reappointed for a second term with deputies to facilitate speedy execution of the Polytechnic’s mandates for more effective and efficient service delivery.

Those reappointed are: Shammah Yakubu as Managing Director, Naspoly Consult, Useni Paul Fatiye as Director(Linkages and Advancement) Dr. Dauda Ibrahim as Director (Academic Planning), QS Ismaila Mukaila as Director (Physical Planning) and Kpanja Shammah as Dean (Students Affairs).

The statement said that others named as Deputies and Coordinators include: Ahmed Usman Egye as Deputy Dean (Students Affairs), Ashedzi Mercy Daniel as Deputy Director (Business Affairs), Suleiman Ibrahim as Deputy Director (Academic Affairs), Dr. Habibu Tanimu as Deputy Director (Academic Planning), Nanchin Elfredah Shammah as Deputy Director (Entrepreneurship/Skills Development).

Engrineer. John Galadima as Deputy Director (Skills Development Centre), Yakubu Bala Zakari as Deputy Director (Research and Development), Francisca Dayang as Deputy Director (SIWES).

Abubakar Okuwa as Deputy Director (Quality Assurance) and Sunday Ajegena as Deputy Director (Linkages and Advancement). Dr. Umar Faruq Muhammad, Bala Osude and Ngasatu Yahuza Makongiji are to serve as Coordinators in the institution’s Intellectual Property and Technology Office, IJMB and Medical Unit accordingly.

The statement stated that appointments takes effect from April, 2024, maintaining that all appointments would run for two years
