A group under the aegis of Civil Societies Coalition for the Emancipation of Osun State (CSCEO) has disclosed the reason why the Osun State government led by Mr Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, the ruling party in the State, the All progressives Congress (APC) and their other affiliated groups were panic over its recent Abuja protest at the National Assembly Complex, where Save Our Soul (SOS) letters were submitted to the upper and lower chamber of the Assembly.

It declared that the State government and its allied in the man-made financial problem created for the State presently which made State to owe workers and retirees alike for period of four(4) to six(6) months of the wages and pension dues respectively, were panic because they did not want President Muhammdu Buhari and international community to hear the ongoing financial anomalies orchestrated by Aregbesola’s administration.

It would be recalled that members of the Civil Society Coalition for the Emancipation of Osun State (CSCEO) penultimate Tuesday, January 26, 2016 stormed the National Assembly complex at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), calling on the National Assembly to intervene in the financial mess Osun state found itself under Governor Rauf Aregbesola.

Reacting to the various statements recently credited to Mr. Aregbesola and his co-travellers after the Abuja protest of the CSCEO over the financial mess facing the State, where the State were presently using all its monthly allocation from the Federation Account to service the gargantuan loan obtained by the present administration between 2012 and 2013 and the State still had financial deficit.

In a statement issued and signed by the CSCEO’s Chairman, Comrade Adeniyi,Alimi Sulaiman which was made available to newsmen on Sunday(yesterday),alleged that Mr. Aregbesola has grounded the state to halt financially, urging  the State government to stop deceiving the good people of the State on the present financial status of the State.
