Abdullahi Adamu Blasts Jonathan, Says Buhari Knows Nigeria Better By Rabiu Omaku,Lafia
The former governor of Nasarawa state, Senator Abdullahi Adamu has said electing president Goodluck Jonathan as the nations president is a disaster ,adding that General Buhari remain the only option for Nigeria ,He stated this during the flagging-off of governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura’s campaign rally held in Toto Local government .
Senator Adamu said the only option that would salvage the nation from the shackles of insecurity, the former governor who is contesting for senate representing Nasarawa west senatorial district called on the supporters of APC to remain resolute by ensuring that the party deliver in Toto.
“I know Toto very well and I’m optimistic that you will cast your 81,000 votes as usual, calling on supporters to vote APC from Assembly to the president
Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, the state governor who is seeking for his election promised to provide more dividend of democracy to the people, he guarantee that he would construct 3km township road in Toto as part of his government commitment to provide the core value of democracy, other promises he make to address the ravaging gully erosion that potent havoc to the community
The state governor also vows to tackle the absence of monarch in the community, saying that he has since sent a proposal for the stool of monarch in the area ,The enthusiastic governor said the APC remain a party to beat in next month election.
The APC, in Gadabuke the state governor presented a staff of office to the monarch of Gadabue chiefdom, his Royal Highness, Alhaji Aliyu Baba. Daudu II, The Gomo Babye was elevated to first class chief, the governor called on the traditional ruler to keep the tempo by abiding to constituted authorities.
Al-Makura opined that he would accord utmost attention to other areas left untouched, He stated that a lot has been achieved in the area of urban renewal, education, health ,rural Development ,Other commitment of the present he stated include the establishment of Taal Model schools, township road, water supply amongst others.

The governor also presented a staff of office to the chief of Nakuse,Ishaku Dahilo ,The Esu Dadayako of Nakuse chiefdom ,The governor in his speech called on the traditional ruler to uphold the good virtues of his predecessor by ensuring peace and harmony among the people
“Government has provided an enabling environment to all Internally Displaced Persons to return to their place of abode, stating that anybody caught fomenting or inciting trouble would face the wrath of the law.
