A Contestant For The Stool Of Late Sangarin Dari Decry Plans By Movers And Shakers To Imposed Stooge On His People

A contestant for the stool of Late Sangarin Dari decried plans by movers and shakers to impose stooge on his people by Government officials. They foresaw the same process repeating itself after his death a few years on the throne.

“We are calling on the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Kokona Local Government, the member representing Kokona East Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Hon. Daniel Oga Ogazi, His Royal Highness, Abaga Toni, Lawrence Ayih, Sangari Amba HRH. Matins Kure Abeshi and all authorities concerned to look at the way paternal owners of the vacant stool.

On his part, Prince Elijah Aso, who is also in the race for the vacant stool, agreed with his elder brother, accusing John Mamman, of shopping for those who are not from the royal families to contest for the vacant stool of Sangarin Dari.

Reacting to the matter, the immediate past commissioner of education in the State, Hon. John W. Mamman Eyen contacted at his abode in Shabu, The headquarters of Lafia North Administrative Area admitted that he is not from any of the royal houses of Dari chiefdom and he is not in the race of Sangarin Dari.

Also, a former lawmaker in Kokona East Constituency, Hon.Raphael Dogara Saa’ka, and The erstwhile Lawmaker representing Kokona East Constituency has declined and is not in the race of Sangarin Dari as it was speculated that the former members have joined the contest.

Hon.Raphael Dogara Saa’ka affirmed that is not from the royal family and cannot contest for Sangarin Dari, I’m currently the Chairman of the elders forum, this is to tell you that I am a critical stakeholder from Dari.

Raphael also declared late Sangarin Dari ,Joseph Angulu was made the Sangarin Dari from Jabba royal house, adding that the Jabba royal house has no qualified persons.

“I have never attempted to seek for the exalted stool because I have no link to royalty”.

He also confirmed the existence of three royal Houses Ari Bankama (Abeshi Royal house), Jabba and Omanji Royal House.

Hon.Raphael Dogara Saa’ka insisted that Hon. John Mamman, The immediate past Commissioner of Education is not amongst those contesting for the stool.

“John Mamman is not from a royal house, Is my brother and friend, He has never informed me of his intention”.

He expressed concern over the way and manner things are going on with the Sangarin Dari kingship, We Just observed that one of those contesting had a Press briefing with Journalists in Lafia, As we are still mourning late Joseph Angulu.

Advising those having an interest in contesting to go back to the College of Selectors instead of causing untold hardship to the populace.

Recalling that one of the contestants from Ari Bankama royal house has gone to the extent of organizing a Press conference.

“For the past three years, the matter was before a competent court of jurisdiction challenging the emergence of the late Joseph Angulu of Jabba ruling house.

The dust surrounding the Sangarin Dari tussle is hovering following the demise of the first Sangarin Dari after the upgrade of the stool.
