IGP’s Family Welfare Scheme: CP Ayoku, Presents Group Life Assurance Cheques Worth ₦65.8 Million To Thirty-One Next Of Kins Of Deceased Police Officers

The Commissioner of Police, Kaduna State, CP Yekini A Ayoku has  today 13th December, 2022 presented Group Life Assurance Cheques worth Sixty Five Million Eight Hundred and Eighty Two thousand One Hundred and sixty Naira, Fifty Nine Kobo.( 65,882,160.59)  only to the next of kins of  Officers and men of the Force who died in active service, on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, NEAPS, fdc, CFR.

The CP, while presenting the cheques stated that it is one of the cardinal welfare packages instituted by the IGP to appreciate deceased officers who paid the Supreme price in the course of their service to the nation. He noted further that the pain of loss of a loved one and bread winner is indescribable and which cannot be recompensed. The payment is therefore only the IGP’s way of showing concern and sharing in the pains being experienced by the dependants as well as ameliorate their hardship.

While condoling with the families of the fallen heroes, the CP conveyed the advice of IGP for them to make judicious use of the money by putting it into productive ventures as they are assured of the support of the Command at all times.
