PDP Lawmaker In Nasarawa Assembly Joins APC

The minority leader at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly,Hon.Peter Mbucho has finally defected to the All Progressives Congress, the lawmaker is representing Akwanga North.

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon.Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi announced the defection on Monday while reading Mbucho’s defection letter during the House proceeding.

The Speaker congratulate  Mbucho’s decision to jump ship as commended his progressives  decision.

Mbucho noting that he had joined the APC in order to contribute his quota to the development of his constituency,the state and the country at large.

“I joined the All Progressives Congress on March 8th,2019  and I have delivered my constituency to APC during the governorship and state House of Assembly election,” he added

Stating further that he would use his wealth of experience in order to add value to the APC -led government at all level.

The House also reports that the House has received the nomination of members of the Nasarawa State Independent National Electoral Commission and Nasarawa State Local Government Civil Service Commission from Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura.

The speaker announced the names of Barr Usman Ibrahim-Galle, Abubakar Yerima and Ayuba Usman- Wandai as members of NASIEC while

Abdullahi Umar and Mustapha  Aliyu as members of the State Local Government Civil Service Commission.

Balarabe-Abdullahi has directed the clerk to the House to communicate to the affected nominees to submit their CV on or before March 22 to come for their screening on March 25.

So far the PDP has only one member in the State Assembly as the tenure of the current members expires on the May 29,2019.
