The Chairman of the Nasarawa State Electoral Commission Chairman, Henry Omaku escaped being lynched by angry supporters of opposition political parties.
The Chairman of the State electoral umpire escaped death while attempting to snatch away ballot box from his polling Unit, Osanke polling Unit opposite Catholic Church, Doma.
The attempt may not be unconnected to the directive given by the Shendam road landlord for all appointees to deliver their polling Unit or face sanction.

It would be recalled that Hon.Henry Omaku, Dr.Emmanuel Akabe, the running mate to Engr.A.A.Sule, Hon.John Ogah, the immediate past IMC were all defeated at their polling Unit during the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Omaku as at press time is at large as the fence of his house was raised down by the aggrieved voters.
It would be recalled that there was reported cases of mass rigging in Doma, this gave room to the cancellation of election results in Kofar while the entire results of two Polling Units of Sarkin Dawaki and Doka ward, electoral wards controlled by the PDP,ZLP and APGA.

The house of the estranged NASIEC Charman was taken over by military guarding the house.
