Plateau High Court Adjourns To 1st  July For Hearing In The Case OF People Of Plateau Vs Five Suspects

The Plateau State High Court sitting in Jos on Friday, 8th Day of May,2026 has fixed July 1st and 2nd, 2026 for hearing into  substantive two-count charge case bordering on conspiracy and  terrorism-related by Plateau People  against four defendants standing trial .

The Angwan Rukuba Community attacked which occurred on  March 29th, 2026 leading to the death of over 30 people in Jos North LGA of Plateau State . 

The presiding Judge , Honourable  Justice  Dafur. Fwomyon of  Court 9 , High Court Complex, Jos,  the matter on the 8th Day of May was rescheduled  for Case Management Conference (CMC).

Fwomyon after listening to the CMC during the proceeding adjourned the case to  26th, Day of May  2026 for delivering ruling on the case management report.

He ordered that  four of the  defendants returned back to DSS custody until final investigation are completed  .

The defendants are standing trial on alleged conspiracy and  terrorism offences of Plateau State administration of criminal act 2017 .

However, the  prosecution counsel the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice , Philemon Daffi  adopted  all the  case management forms and responses  filed by defense counsel.

Daffi informed the court that all necessary processes had been duly filed and exchanged to parties, urging  the court to adopt the submissions and issue its reported in line with the provisions governing our  criminal case management proceeding.
