The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Public Affairs,Comrade Peter Ahemba has said the ruling All Progressives Congress in Nasarawa State is ready to conduct free,fair and credible election in the State.
The SSA gave the hint during a press briefing at the Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalist, Nasarawa State Council at the month of May press briefing.
He said the only criteria for one to participate in the election includes showing of genuine membership card with security logo and signature by the State Working Committee of the APC.
The SSA on Public Affairs to Governor Abdullahi Sule has warn politicians in the State to shun violence during and after party primaries.
He gave the assurance that no single aspirant will be short change whatsoever by anybody,Adding that the ruling All Progressives Congress adopted direct primaries not consensus by the party.
Comrade Peter Ahemba said that the party warned on stakeholders to shun the proliferation of membership card from business centres.
He also appealed to Journalist in the State to conduct themselves by sustaining the good reportage they are known for.
According to him, the primaries for House of Representatives will be on Thursday 15, then Senate,House of Assembly and Governorship and lastly Presidential primaries.
